2026 Club's July Campout

July 14th to 22nd at Forest Rose Campground in Barkerville, BC. You must be a member of ATVBC & Wells Wheels ATV Club to participate in any events or activities organized by our Club.

Although not all of you can make it for the whole week, you are welcome to join us whenever possible.

The Club's July Campout at the Forest Rose Campground in Barkerville is from Tuesday, July 14 at 3pm to Wednesday, July 22nd at 11am.

Club Members: You can reserve your favorite campsite directly from this link: Campsite Booking. 

Members have already reserved 20+ campsites for the event!

Lowhee Campground Booking: You can also reserve a campsite at this campground, from which you can ride your ORV from your site to the Forest Rose Campground to join us on the rides.
Just follow the ATV signs to ride to the FRC campground.

Schedule of Events

 

  • Tuesday, July 14 - Arriving, Set-up & Welcome Members

    • Board of Directors Dinner (+spouses) at Jack's O’Clubs Pub @6pm

      • Review the schedule and make adjustments if necessary

      • Confirm leaders and tailgunners

  • Wednesday, July 15 - Installation of directional signs on the new route from Crescent Lake to Hardscrabble

    • Removal of old signs, if time permits

  • Thursday, July 16 - Ride the proposed routes for the Saturday group rides

    • Remove old signs

  • Friday, July 17 - Ride to Stony Lake to meet the PG Riders, and lead the groups to Wells via the new route

    • Other club members can lead rides around Wells/Berkerville

  • Saturday, July 18 - Host the PG Club Group Rides. Or visit Barkerville & Wells

    • Cornish Mountain

    • Yanks Peak

    • Two Sisters Mountain or McKenna Creek Loop, depending on snow level

    • Middle Mountain: For Expert Riders ONLY

  • Sunday, July 19 - Club Ride with the Ladies

    • Other rides: Yanks Peak, Cameron Ridge, Ghost Lake

  • Monday, July 20 - Light trail maintenance on Sawflat Creek Trail

    • Tour with the ORCBC crew (grant recipient)

    • Other members to lead group rides

  • Tuesday, July 21 -  Final Club Group Ride - Cameron Ridge/Ghost Lake Loop

  • Wednesday, July 22 - Safe Travels - See you all next year!
