An unforgettable gathering in Barkerville.
The 2026 July Campout at "Forest Rose Campground" was an incredible week of camping and camaraderie! We saw over 30 campsites reserved, along with additional hotel accommodations and AirB&B. Club members joined us throughout the week, with some staying for the entire duration and others enjoying a fantastic weekend. It was a true testament to the vibrant spirit of the Wells Wheels ATV Club!
Record-breaking attendance and club growth
What made this year's campout a 'huge success' was undoubtedly the overwhelming turnout. With over 40 club members attending, we almost doubled last year's participation! This incredible growth showcases the increasing enthusiasm for ATV riding and the strong community we've built here in Wells, British Columbia.

Thrilling destination rides explored by many.
On Saturday, club members expertly guided three destination rides, not only for our own Wells Wheels ATV Club members but also for the Prince George riders who joined us. The event was exceptionally well-attended, and for many, it was their very first time visiting these scenic and exciting areas. We were delighted to share these experiences with new and returning riders alike!
Activities for every member
Attendees participated in a variety of events and rides scheduled throughout the week. While some dedicated members were busy with crucial trail maintenance and signage installation, ensuring our trails remain safe and enjoyable, others hit the trails to prepare for exciting group rides. Everyone contributed to making the campout a truly collaborative and fun experience for all. Members had the opportunity to ride to Stony Lake, Two Sisters Mountain, Yanks Peak, Cornish Mountain, Ghost Lake, Comet Creek Resort, and Middle Mountain.
Last ride of the week: Middle Mountain adventure!
For our final ride of the week, club members ventured to Middle Mountain for an exhilarating ride and a BBQ on the summit. The terrain proved to be technically challenging all the way to the top, offering an unforgettable adventure for everyone. It was a perfect way to cap off another great season of riding! Our 2026 July Campout was truly a huge success.

The weather was perfect, with just a bit of refreshing rain on Sunday, making for ideal riding conditions.
